Sydney sang for over 30,000 people at the Pittsburgh Affiliate’s Race for the Cure. It was the 20th year for the event. She sang the National Anthem and her original song, “Guardian Angel,” during the Survivor Ceremony, and performed during the race as well.

“It was truly an amazing, humbling experience,” says Hutchko. “To see all of these courageous, strong, beautiful women (and men) standing there during the Survivor Ceremony, was just awe-inspiring…I was moved beyond words.”

Sydney’s song, “Guardian Angel,” is available for download on iTunes, Amazon, and CdBaby. Throughout the month of May, all proceeds from the downloads of “Guardian Angel’ will be donated to the Pittsburgh Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Sydney has been invited to perform at BMI’s 17th Annual Key West Songwriter’s Festival. Some of the other songwriters that will be playing the festival include: Liz Rose, Rhett Akins, Bob DiPiero, Luke Laird, and Jeffrey Steele.  The festival will take place May 2nd-6th. Sydney sang the National Anthem on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Utah Jazz NBA game.

Sydney’s song, “Mr. Mister,” made its debut on the MediaBase Country Chart in January, 2012 and so far, has spent six consecutive weeks on the chart.  This is a major feat for an independent artist, and marks the first time Sydney has a song on the charts, and she couldn’t be more excited and grateful.

So many thanks to all of the country radio stations that are playing this song.
